One in nine women will develop breast cancer at some time in their life, and it’s more common in women over 50.

Breast screening is the most effective way to detect cancers when they are too small to discover otherwise.

To date, the NHS breast screening service has saved 25,000 women from cancer.

What’s more, the service is local, free and consistently high quality.
